Keeping Up with Business Changes
Haha! So the picture is funny…but there are so many days our answering service staff feels just like this.
Unfortunately, we can only operate on the information our customers provide to us. Whether it be company information that your callers may ask for, or your after hours on call schedules, it is imperative we have the information in a timely fashion.
Providing your answering service with information quickly saves you time and money, as well as assures you that your account information is accurate. Daily our virtual receptionists get phone calls during our rush hour from customers calling to add a new person that is on call as of 5 pm. If we don’t receive this information until 5 pm, then your account is not immediately accurate. We strive to provide you with the highest level of telephone customer service possible and will gladly make any changes you need to your account, however it’s hard to maintain that level of service with information given to us this way.
All answering services would benefit from receiving account change information quicker. Some services may not even process changes until the next business day.
