The Answer Network encourages you to THINK PINK…Again!
Yes, I've put another blog post on here encouraging ladies to get their mammograms and gentleman to remind the special ladies in their lives to have them...and yes, I'm going to do it again!
This cause is very special to me...exactly six years ago today I heard the words "I'm sorry, it's breast cancer". Six years ago I became a SURVIVOR! I've never really written anything about this before but I thought today may be a good opportunity to share my celebration of another year, throw out another friendly reminder to the ladies and again say thank you!
Early detection of this disease really can save lives. I was fortunate to have found it early and had what I still refer to as the dream team of doctors and nurses to help me battle it with both guns blazing! I also had an enormous amount of help, support and encouragement from all my family, and friends. I am certain that I could not have made it through everything without them and I will forever be grateful. I still simply can't thank you all enough!
If you have skipped or forgotten or just put off your annual check ups please schedule them. I say that for all the special ladies in my family, on our staff, my friends, their families, their friends...the list goes on. It's an important part of "taking care of you" and I strongly encourage you to take all opportunities to do just that!
So...THINK PINK...and BRING ON SEVEN!!!
